Wrapped in love and Holiday spirit

As the calendar flips to December, my anticipation grows, and I eagerly await to write about the season that holds a special place in my heart: Christmas. Reflecting and sharing about my Christmas time has become a kind of regular holiday practice now.
While each Christmas has been unique, with it's own set of experiences and memories, the underlying spirit of the season has remained constant. The warmth, love and goodness that define Christmas are timeless that makes the holiday so special.

This year, I'm scaling back the hustle and bustle and having a more easygoing Christmas. No pressure or expectations of creating the "perfect" holiday time. Instead, I'm embracing letting things unfold naturally.
Of course, some things remain dear to my heart. I still enjoy binge-watching Christmas movies, sipping hot chocolate, and marveling at the festive decorations that adorn the streets and homes. Visiting Christmas markets and then my usual - having the rum wine cake!

However, this year, I am spending more time with my loved ones. Cherishing the people who have been my constant source of support and comfort in my life and remembering those who are not around but their love continues to stay in my heart.
As Janice Maeditere said, "Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts."
Baking plans are underway, albeit at a leisurely pace! I've managed to make some chocolates, but my to-do list still has crispy churros and sweet pine cone treats. Fingers crossed I'll get to cross them off my list soon!
And finally, as I wrap up my thoughts, I hope that this holiday season brings serenity, happiness and a renewed sense of what truly matters. A time to unwind, recharge, engage in meaningful moments and gear up for the new year with a heart full of cheer and gratitude.
Happy Holidays!
Lots of love,
Swati
